This site gives access to information about the organization's 25 programs offered around the country, in which 100,000 young people participate each year. Kids can check out the event calendar for a month-by-month listing of service opportunities as well as read up on tips on getting started and finding out ways to donate to schools and programs in need.
  • Donate Old Glasses Locally (3)
Donate your old glasses to Lens Crafters at 3500 Oleander Drive, 910-392-2020 and they will donate them to OneSight. They have a charitable vision giving program. Currently their manager is on a mission trip and she takes 1000 pairs of glasses with her each year to give away! Be a part of this great project!!
  • Reuse-A-Shoe (6)
    Reuse-A-Shoe
Nike’s Reuse-A-Shoe program accepts any brand of used athletic shoes and repurposes them into sports surfaces—like tracks, tennis courts or playgrounds—in underserved communities around the world. Since 1990, more than 50 million old shoes have been collected. To donate up to 10 pairs, just drop them off at your local Nike store; there may also be a community recycling center nearby.
